After four and a half years waiting, we are finally set to go to China. We leave Wednesday, June 2nd from O'Hare airport, with a direct flight to Beijing arriving Thursday afternoon. We will tour for several days in Beijing, then on Monday the 7th we head to Changsha, the capital of the Hunan province, and will receive Vivian that afternoon. We will be in Changsha for several days finalizing the adoption, doing a little bit of touring, and most importantly starting to bond with our new daughter. On Friday the 11th we fly to Guangzhou for a medical exam of Vivian, finalization of her U.S. citizenship and receipt of her visa, and even one more day of touring. Finally on Friday the 18th we fly to Shanghai and then back to Chicago and a four hour drive home!
